וַיְהִ֨י שָׂטָ֤ן לְיִשְׂרָאֵל֙ כָּל־יְמֵ֣י שְׁלֹמֹ֔ה וְאֶת־הָרָעָ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר הֲדָ֑ד וַיָּ֙קָץ֙ בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וַיִּמְלֹ֖ךְ עַל־אֲרָֽם׃ (פ)
Ia menjadi lawan bagi Israel sepanjang masa Salomo, selain kejahatan yang ditimbulkan oleh Hadad; ia muak terhadap Israel, dan ia memerintah atas Aram.
